The Labuan Cross Channel swimming Challenge 2005 is one of the anchor events for the annual Labuan International Sea Challenge . In this Event, competitors are required to swim from the main island of Labuan to Papan Island ( An island off the main island of Labuan and back to Labuan Island , covering a distances of 5.2 kilometres. This event has attracted endurance swimmers from all over Malaysia and the numbers of participants have sreadily increase since the competition started two years ago.
