Rules and Regulations

1 The age of the participants must be 18 years and above.
2 All participants are required to pass through all the check point, failing of which will result in automatic disqualification.
3 Should the Kayak capsize, a rescue boat will only provide assistance
4 Ducking ( Following too close from behind) is not allowed. Should any participant breach this rule, the Marshalls will give a warning. In the event that the participant breach this rule for the second time, he/she will be automatically disqualified. The minimum distance allowed is a 10 meter radius.
5 Any appeals lodged to the organizer must be enclosed with a RM100.00 deposit fee. The deposit will be forfeited if the appeals is thrown out. Any decision made by the organizer is final.
6 The organizer reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations of the Labuan Round Island Kayak Race at any time it deems fit.
7 All participants are required to sign an indemnity form and attached the form with the entry fom on submission of entry.
8 It is the duty of the participants to ensure and declare that they are medically and physically fit to participate in the Labuan Round Island Kayak Race 2005.
9 As the event is an endurance and technical event, for safety reasons, all participants are required to have past experience in Kayak Races prior to participating in the Labuan Round Island Kayak Race 2005.
