People of all nationalities gather on this day to pay, tributes to the fallen heroes of world war II in Malaysia's largest WWII memorial.  Foreign entourage consists of friends and relatives of the war victims.  They are led by representatives of foreign embassies and high commissions in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, and accompanied by their respective military personnel.
